English: Looking into the Chelsea Waterside Play Area within Chelsea Waterside Park, at West 23rd Street at 11th Avenue near the West Side Highway in Chelsea, Manhattan. The park was reconstructed in the late 1990s by the NYSDOT, however most of the playground wasn't opened until 2005. The current play area was constructed in a recent renovation, opening in August 2018. Pictured is the current playground's main feature, the Pipefish Tower, consisting of the snake-like colorful climbing feature surrounding a tall slide resembling tree trunks. That's a heck of a slide!
