English: Charles Hubert "Charlie" Parr (1918–2000) was an American bibliographer, businessman, military officer, politician and writer. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Parr retired as a major in the United States Army and settled in Fairbanks, Alaska. Parr was a member of the faculty of the University of Alaska Fairbanks during the 1960s and 1970s, including serving as the first Arctic bibliographer at the Elmer E. Rasmuson Library. He later represented Fairbanks as a Democrat in the Alaska House of Representatives and Alaska Senate. In later life, he owned the Alaska House gallery in downtown Fairbanks, which was founded by Claire Fejes.
