Description
English: Cordyline australis, Cabbage Tree (Ti Kouka). Inflorescence in the late afternoon sun. The Cabbage Tree grows as high as 20m with trunks up to 2m in diameter. Māori used it as a valuable source of food, medicine and fibre.
