English: Hurricane Blanca (02E) off Mexico: At 1:35 p.m. local time (20:25 Universal Time ), on June 3, 2015, the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Aqua satellite acquired this natural-color image of Hurricane Blanca off the coast of Mexico. The storm is the earliest second hurricane on record for the eastern Pacific Ocean. After intensifying rapidly, Blanca then weakened while passing over an area of upwelling. Forecasters expect the storm to strengthen as it moves north in the coming days.^[1]

Español: El huracán Blanca (02E) frente a México: A las 1:35 pm (20:25 Tiempo Universal Coordinado) del 3 de junio de 2015, las Imágenes Espectroradiométricas de Moderada Resolución (MODIS por sus siglas en inglés) del satélite de la NASA, Aqua, captaron ésta imagen de color natural del huracán Blanca frente a la costa de México. La tormenta es considerada como el segundo huracán mayor precoz jamás registrado en el Pacífico oriental. Luego de intensificarse rápidamente, el Blanca se debilitó mientras se desplazaba sobre un área de surgencia. Los pronosticadores esperaban en que la tormenta se intensificase más mientras se desplazaba al norte en los días siguientes (véase referencia).
