Traditional Robin Hood motif used as part of the bus livery of Barton Transport plc in the 1970s and 1980s. Photographed on the side panel of a Plaxton Elite coach.

The original picture was taken from a child's story book and first painted by John Thomas Evans (Deceased) who was a Long Eaton sign writer and lived at 289 College Street Long Eaton Nottingham the picture was later applied as a transfer. The motif was used on the Robin Hood Coaches.
