Description
English: The Augustus Coin struck between 37 BC and 34 BC with a clear representation of Temple of Divus Iulius in the Roman Forum. It is possible to see the Altar (left), the Divine Star that appeared in the sky of Rome in year 44 BC after the death of Caesar probably in a marble reproduction located as decoration in the Tympanum of the Temple, the doors of the temple left open and the statue of Caesar, veiled as Pontifex Maximus, with the lituus augural staff in his right hand.
