Prunksaal (splendor hall): allegory of war and law.
Ceiling painting made by Daniel Gran (1694–1757) and finished in 1730.
The splendor hall of the Austrian National Library [1] was designed and started by Johann Fischer von Erlach [2] and finished by his son Joseph Emanuel [3] in 1726.
The frescoes reflect the division of the Prunksaal, after the original list of the books, into a "war-law" and a "peace-heaven" wings.
The barock program for the fresco was done by Conrad Adolph von Albrecht (1682–1751)

Deckengemälde von Daniel Gran (1694-1757). Fertigstellung 1730.
Die Eingangshalle der österreichischen Nationalbibliothek wurde von Johann Fischer von Erlach entworfen, der auch mit der Anfertigung begann. Sein Sohn stellte sie 1726 fertig.
Das barocke Thema wurde von Conrad Adolph von Albrecht entworfen.
