An artist’s impression of the statue of Hugh Boyd M‘Neile (1795-1879), by then Dean of Ripon, created by the eminent sculptor, George Gammon Adams (1821-1898), in Carrara marble, commissioned in 1869, and installed in one of the niches in the Concert Hall of St George's Hall, Liverpool, on 5 December 1872.
