English: A 3in Gun Emplacement belonging to Battery D, 1st Battalion, 206th Coast Artillery, at Dutch Harbor, Alaska, following the Battle of Dutch Harobor. The back of the photo reads, "Gun at Second Gun Position. The Snd (sic) Have Several 100 Machine Gun Bullets from Jap Planes. The Hill in the background is where our pernmeant Position. Gobblers Knob (the name)300 ft. Elev Over lookng Unalaska and Captians Bay. Note the Road- We built Quite a bit of it."
