English: Detail of a ledger stone along the north wall of the nave of Kruisherenkerk in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The Gothic church and monastery of the Croziers (or Crutched Friars) dates from the 15th century and was converted into a luxury hotel in 2003-05. This ledger stone dates from the 1630s and belonged to the families Meesters and Selen. The insciption (not visible here) reads: hier licht begraven den eersaemen / Ardt Meesters sterf den 15 meirt / ao 1633 ende jan selen ao 1637 / den 7 october ende marcellus selen / soene van jan selen iamerlijck vermoort jonckman synde ao 1663 / den 23 october ende Elisabeth van / Offenbeeck hunner beyder huysvrouwe sterf ao 16.. den /.
