Description1990 Lotus Esprit X180R "Eleanor", front right (Greenwich).jpg
English: 1990 Lotus Esprit X180R "Eleanor" (#12), displayed at the 2023 Greenwich Concours d'Elegance. This was the second of two factory Esprit racecars to be built for the SCCA Escort World Challenge, and wore #16 originally. Called the "Type 105", they spawned the later X180R and Sport 300. This particular example was campaigned almost uninterruptedly until 2000; after a two-year break it then began entering vintage races. The livery mostly matches what it wore from 1991 until 1994, when it raced in the IMSA Supercar Series for the LotuSport Team as #12.
