English: A copy of the ninth edition of the King's Chapel Book of Common Prayer, first published in 1986. King's Chapel has used prayer books based on a Unitarian version of the Church of England's 1662 Book of Common Prayer since James Freeman created the first edition in 1785. The hardcover is red cloth with gold embossing of "Common Prayer ✠ King's Chapel" on the front cover and "Common Prayer King's Chapel" along the squared-off spine. Image taken on altar of the Evans Memorial Chapel on the University of Denver campus. The cross on the cover is in the public domain, used since at least 1925 on printings of the King's Chapel liturgy.
