Description1983 SF Historic Trolley Festival - Porto 189 over inspection pit at Duboce Yard.jpg
During the first San Francisco Historic Trolley Festival, in 1983, Porto streetcar No. 189 is parked over the inspection pit at Duboce Yard (a.k.a. Mint Division). This was in the Duboce Avenue right-of-way, on a third track that had been only recently installed, for maintenance during the first Historic Trolley Festival. Car 189 had been moved to here for the first time, from Metro Center, less than two days earlier (the night of June 30/July 1) and had not yet entered service.
