Black River-Hardwicke was a local service district in Northumberland County, New Brunswick. It is now part of the Greater Miramichi rural district.[1]
Demographics
editIn the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada:
- Black River-Hardwicke part A had a population of 726 living in 336 of its 433 total private dwellings, a change of 5.2% from its 2016 population of 690. With a land area of 157.84 km2 (60.94 sq mi), it had a population density of 4.6/km2 (11.9/sq mi) in 2021.[2]
- Black River-Hardwicke part B had a population of 341 living in 147 of its 168 total private dwellings, a change of -4.7% from its 2016 population of 358. With a land area of 64.81 km2 (25.02 sq mi), it had a population density of 5.3/km2 (13.6/sq mi) in 2021.[2]
