- ^ Abdullah I of Jordan, who was Hussein's grandfather and the intended target of the assassination, did die as a result of the assassination.
- ^ Although Argov survived the attempted assassination, when he died over 20 years after the attempted assassination, his cause of death was attributed to injuries sustained during the attempted assassination.[37]
